Vinille has redesigned the brand identity & package design for EasyBeer; a unique microbrewery in Scandinavia. Founded in August 2017, EasyBeer is known for their high-quality and innovative craft beer. The evolution of its recipe began when they started splitting batches of beer at different stages of the brewing process to create variations of each brew. In 2020 the company developed a new beer recipe with coffee taste and a high quality, distinct taste and quirky experience under the utmost levels of care and attention. Vinille has developed a new package design for their can.
challenge
Easy Beer’s idea with this new product and story revolves around coffee and morning rituals – in fact, the entire message is built around Asia. Vinille was asked to refine this package design in a way that better communicated EasyBeer and it's very special personality.
The new concept fully embraces EasyBeer’s cataloguing system, using it to define the brand, making each label unique. The team reshaped the hierarchy and pulled focus to the beer style using illustrations. The identity keeps true and introduces lighter elements, like the white silver metal effect that points to the minimalist design content and the easy-drinking nature of the product. Vinille’s structural design team developed a new bar font that achieves maximum standout on the bar and instils all the values of the new brand. Here again, the brand draws its influence from precision-engineered metals but manages to still feel light and refreshing.
